Suitable for:       Patient Support Administrator, Hospital Ward Patient Support, GP Administrator, GP Receptionist or Patient Homecare Support Administrator

Location:              Liverpool (office based)

Duration:             Permanent

Salary:                  £25k - £28k DOE + bens

Our client is a valued provider of technology solutions for the provision of out-of-hospital technological support, and they are looking to add a Healthcare Support Administrator to their growing team. This is a face-to-face contact role, so candidates should have the necessary skills to maintain a warm friendly atmosphere.

Experience/Attributes:

The Healthcare Support Administrator should be skilled in customer services and;

  • Good IT skills including:

o      general use of Windows based PCs, the Internet and email;

o      the use of Microsoft Office products, especially Excel.

  • Good organisational skills
  • Good verbal and written communications skills.
  • Well organised and presentable to customers
  • Able to talk with customers and patients on the phone and face-to-face
  • Able to work with minimal supervision
  • Working knowledge of company’s Quality Procedures and Policies
  • Should hold a valid UK driving licence
  • Ideally you will have a healthcare sector / NHS / GP Practice background
  • You will be required to undergo a full disclosure and barring service (DBS) check before commencement of employment

The Role:

The role of the Healthcare Support Administrator will include, but not be limited to the following:

  • General administration
  • Arranging patient install, collection and support call visits for field technicians
  • First point of contact for patients seeking technical support
  • Providing telephone support to patients
  • Supporting clients with help navigating the systems
  • Occasional holiday cover for technicians - visiting patient homes to:

o      setup equipment

o      collect equipment
