Product Manager - United Kingdom - remote working

Position:  Product Manager

Suitable for:  Product Delivery Manager, Project Manager, Agile Delivery Manager with experience of SAFe / scaled agile framework and developing commercial software

Location:  Homebased  / Milton Keynes at least once a month

Salary:  to £60k + bens

Working for a leading healthcare software solutions provider, the Product Delivery Manager will be responsible for driving end to end delivery of new software products / solutions as part of a cross-functional team.  You will be guiding complex technology initiatives from inception to through delivery and support, working in close partnership with the Product Director / Solution Owner and the Solution Architect in the team. 

The initial focus for the Product Manager is to support the delivery of one of the company’s most strategic programmes in 2024 / 25.

Essential:

  • Previous experience as a Product Manager, Product Delivery Manager, Agile Delivery Manager
  • Must have experience of commercial software development / MVP
  • Good understanding of software development processes and scaled agile framework / SAFe
  • Must be an effective communicator across different stakeholder groups
  • Able to take responsibility to drive delivery and use initiative to solve challenges
  • Comfortable with constructively challenging the norm and suggest improvements

Desirable

  • Understanding/knowledge or experience of SQL, .Net, Azure, API’s would be a bonus but not essential
  • Experience of integration engines / middleware / messaging solutions is a bonus
  • Experience of working in the healthcare sector / working with a digital health product

The Role:

  • Obtain a sound understanding of the technology and software components making up the product suites
  • Support product leads or solution architects to drive the execution of key initiatives from design through to delivery and deployment
  • Work with the Solution Owner and Solution Architect to understand the business outcomes, functional and non-functional requirements
  • Where required, work with third party stakeholders and suppliers to progress technical deliverables
  • Ensure risks, issues, or delays are flagged to the Solution Owner as early as possible
  • Set up and facilitate workshops as required to ensure the components of the solution are understood and planned.
