Project Manager – Software Implementation (Healthcare)

Location: London (King’s Cross)
Working pattern: 4 days per week on-site (Monday to Thursday), Friday WFH plus client travel as required. Occasional paid weekend work during go-live
Salary: £80,000 to £100,000 DOE

About the Role
Our client is looking for a hands-on Project Manager – Software Implementation to support the delivery of customer implementations within a commercial HealthTech start-up entering scale-up phase.
This role is suited to someone who has built their experience in HealthTech start-ups, is comfortable working without heavy structure, and enjoys operating in environments where priorities shift and processes are still evolving.
You will manage implementations from discovery through to go-live, working closely with Product, Engineering and Customer teams to ensure safe, high-quality deployment of healthcare software. This is a fast-paced, delivery-focused role in a mission-driven business, where speed, ownership and adaptability really matter.
Key Responsibilities
As Project Manager, you will:
- Manage the end-to-end implementation lifecycle for new customers
- Scope, plan and deliver software implementations and onboarding programmes
- Coordinate configuration, data migration and validation activities
- Work closely with internal product and engineering teams to resolve issues quickly
- Ensure data quality, integrity and clinical safety throughout delivery
- Own day-to-day customer communication and expectation management
- Identify risks, issues and dependencies, adapting plans in response to change
- Contribute to improving tooling, processes and implementation documentation
- Support a collaborative, delivery-focused team culture
Skills and Experience
You will have:
- Around 4–6 years’ experience in software implementation, project management or technical delivery roles
- Proven experience delivering software implementations within HealthTech start-ups
- Experience operating in Start‑Up → Scale‑Up environments, where structure is evolving
- Confidence working in ambiguous, non-structured settings
- Ability to keep pace in a fast-moving, high-growth environment
- Strong stakeholder management and clear communication skills
- A critical thinker with strong problem-solving and sound judgement
- A proactive, resilient mindset with strong ownership mentality
